Public Knowledge is a national management consulting firm that has helped public agencies improve their programs, people and systems for more than 30 years. In April 2026 it acquired Civic Initiatives, a public procurement consultancy whose team of former procurement officers has supported projects in 35 states.
Our relationship goes back further than either firm. Integris Applied founder Les Druitt and Civic Initiatives founder Dustin Lanier were friends before both went on to found their firms in 2010.
The two firms work in the same markets with complementary capabilities. Integris Applied provides IT strategy, primarily for state CIOs, including technology sourcing. Public Knowledge, through the former Civic Initiatives team, focuses on state procurement. Together, we help states connect technology strategy with the procurement needed to deliver it.
