Integris Applied is pleased to announce that Managing Director Tim Ryckman will be a featured speaker at Scopism Service North 2026, taking place November 2, 2026, in Manchester, United Kingdom. The conference brings together practitioners, thought leaders, and organizations from the international Service Integration and Management (SIAM) community to share experiences, insights, and best practices.
Ryckman’s session, “Are We Negotiating or Are We Integrating?”, will explore an important challenge in establishing successful multisupplier service environments: how to balance the traditionally competitive nature of procurement and contract negotiations with the collaboration and integration required for effective long-term service relationships.
Drawing on decades of experience in IT sourcing, complex contract negotiations, multisupplier governance, and service integration, Ryckman will examine how procurement can become more than a process for selecting suppliers and negotiating contracts. Through practical examples and principles of collaborative, interest-based negotiation, the session will explore how customers and suppliers can use procurement activities—including due diligence, clarification sessions, solution development, and contract negotiations—to establish mutual understanding, align interests, and begin building effective service relationships even before contracts are signed.
The session builds on Integris Applied’s participation in the 2025 Service North conference, where colleague Matt Reprogle presented “Driving Integration Through Managed Service Procurement.” This year’s presentation takes a deeper look at the practical activities and negotiation approaches that can help establish a foundation for successful SIAM relationships.
As Scopism’s Americas Regional Partner, Integris Applied works to advance SIAM knowledge, practices, and professional capabilities throughout the region. Participation in Service North reflects the firm’s continuing commitment to the global SIAM community and its focus on helping organizations build healthy, effective service relationships.
